This September, celebrate the harvest season during your stay at luxury Geneva hotel Hotel d'Angleterre.
If you are taking a family break in Geneva then the Fete de la Vendange could also be a fun day out for the children.
Taking place on September 20th and September 21st 2008, the Fete de la Vendange - or Harvest Festival - takes place in the small wine village of Russin just outside of Geneva.
According to organisers, this event "kicks off" Geneva's grape harvest. While there will be wine tasting for the grown ups, children are sure to love the entertainment that comes with this traditional festival- which includes a parade.
Revellers can also enjoy harvest cuisine at the many food stands and markets that are scattered throughout the village.
The lively harvest festival is also likely to include plenty of dancing and music.
