This July at the English Garden in Geneva, guests staying at luxury hotel Hotel d'Angleterre can enjoy music and food as the region builds up to the Geneva Festival this summer.

Prelude to the Geneva Festival begins on July 17th and will run until July 30th 2008, ahead of the launch of the Geneva Festival on July 31st.

Free open-air concerts will be held every night and visitors can enjoy food and drink from the accompanying stalls.

The Geneva Festival itself is one of the highlights of the summer season. Those enjoying family breaks at Hotel d'Angleterre can enjoy fun fair attractions, entertainment and of course music concerts and world food and drink.

On the evening of August 9th, a firework display will light up the sky before the traditional Waiters and Waitresses Race takes place on August 10th.

Also taking place during July and August will be The Cultural Affairs Department of Geneva's series of open-air concerts.

Classical and jazz concerts will be held in the Town Hall Courtyard while modern forms of music will be performed on the Ella Fitzgerald stage in La Grange Park.
