Chopin Festival at Conservatoire de Musique

Pianists from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany will come together in the Swiss capital Geneva for the Chopin festival, a week-long celebration of the romantic composer's work.

While established pianists will to take to the stage there will also be a platform for emerging talent to display their abilities with the ivories.

Each musician will stage a show highlighting the influences the legendary composer had on the music from their countries.

Beginning on Sunday November 9th, Yvan Klansky will get proceedings underway with a performance entitled Chopin and Czech music followed by Eric Artz with Chopin and Hungarian music on Tuesday November 11th.

Thursday November 13th will see the stars of the future take to the stage, with the Young Piano Talents show taking place.

Dmytro Sukhovienko will be in the spotlight on Saturday November 15th, with his Chopin and Russian music performance before Jean-Marc Luisada finishes the proceedings with Chopin and German music.

With such an array of talent on display, demand for top-quality accommodation could be high.
