Swiss Ceramics 1959-2009 at the Musée Ariana

Switzerland is a land famous for many things, among them the quality of its ceramics, which are appreciated by many across the world.

Its hotels are good as well, although the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre stands out from the rest, with its combination of style, sophistication and class.

Guests staying at the Hotel d'Angleterre will have the opportunity to see ceramic objects from some of the country's most promising artists at the Musée Ariana from April 23rd.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Swiss Ceramics, the professional association of Swiss ceramists, the museum will exhibit work from young up-and-coming talent looking to carry on the proud traditions laid down before them.

Fans of ceramic objects will not want to miss this event, which will also include a competition to find the best piece from an association member with less than eight years experience, plus much more.

The Musee Ariana is not the only place where people will see wonderful ceramics.

Guests at the d'Angleterre can experience them with the Geneva Gastronomy, Arts and Design package, although the focus will very much be on the food and not the plate.
