Geneva Marathon across the city

Event: Geneva Marathon

Guests at the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre will have the opportunity to slip into their running shorts and trainers and join the locals in the great Geneva Marathon.

Returning for the fifth year, the event caters for all levels of fitness, with something for everyone to enjoy and no pressure on people to run at a level which is beyond them.

There are three different sections to the race, including a full marathon for those with the stamina, while there is also a half marathon and a marathon relay for those with less running experience.

As well as enjoying a thorough workout, it is also a chance for visitors to see some of the city's most magnificent sites, buildings and views.

Runners will pass the United Nations office, the Jet d'Eau, flower clock, Lake Geneva and other cultural highlights.

After a punishing day, guests at the Hotel d'Angleterre can return to the establishment and rest in the comfort provided by the Classic Weekend package, which includes a wonderfully luxurious suite, a buffet breakfast in the morning and a cocktail in the Leopard Bar.
