Aru - 7 Images at the Natural History Museum

Event: Aru - 7 Images
Date: June 16th until September 13th

The plumage of the greater bird of paradise is one of the most striking and dazzling displays of colour anywhere in the natural world.

With its fabulous yellow crown and emerald green throat, it is a wonderful example of nature in all its glory.

This magnificent species is mainly found on the archipelago of Waru Aru, in south-eastern Indonesia.

However, from next month, guests at the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre will be able to see them in a special exhibition at the Natural History Museum.

For the last seven years, Swiss photographer and biologist Loic Degen has devoted his life to travelling to this natural paradise and photographing the many animals, vegetables and minerals which inhabit it.

The result is a body of images capturing birds, snakes, frogs and more in their natural habitat, giving visitors a closer look at how these wonderful creatures live, survive and prosper.

It promises to be a wonderful exhibition for animal lovers and photography fans alike and something else which both groups will enjoy is a Luxury Weekend Break at the d'Angleterre.

The deal includes a buffet breakfast, in-room champagne upon arrival and a four-course dinner in the fabulous Windows Restaurant.
