Event: Visit Geneva's beautiful public parks
Date: All year
More than one quarter of Geneva is covered in public parks, making it a wonderful location for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic break away from it all.
One of the most famous is the English Garden, which was created in 1854 and is home to a large bronze sculpture from Parisian artist Alexis Andre, as well as a flower clock.
Another highlight is Bastions Park, where visitors can play chess on any one of the boards scattered across the area and also see the famous Reformation Monument, which was erected to commemorate the founders of the Reformation movement.
Located along Lake Geneva are two of the most beautiful of all of Geneva's parks, La Perle-du-Lac and Parc Moynier, which offer couples magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the lake.
A stone's throw away is somewhere else which has everything that couples need for a fabulous break - the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre.
Those who opt for the Luxury Weekend Break package can look forward to a buffet breakfast, in-room champagne upon arrival and a four-course dinner in the Windows Restaurant.
