Flamenco Festival at the Theatre de L'Alhambra

The spirit of Southern Spain will sweep through Geneva from late October, when international dancers and musicians come from far and wide to celebrate the Theatre de L'Alhambra's Flamenco Festival.

This week-long spectacular will bring the sound and soul of Seville to the Swiss Alps, giving guests at the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre the chance to watch, learn and enjoy.

After seeing some of the very best flamenco dancers in the world strut their stuff, visitors can click their own heels to the sounds of the castanets and feel the rhythm and passion of this wonderful dance.

As well as many different shows, there will be various talks, films and exhibitions, with experts on hand to guide beginners through the steps and help them find their dancing feet.

After an evening's dancing, visitors will not want to travel far back to their accommodation and, thankfully, the d'Angleterre is less than five minutes away from the theatre.

That means guests will not have to wait too long to enjoy the delights of the Arts & Culture package, which includes wonderful accommodation, a buffet breakfast the following morning, entries to two museums and a beautiful book about Geneva.
