Geneva to host Chopin Festival

A festival aimed at celebrating a great romantic composer is set to thrill guests of luxury Geneva hotel Hotel d'Angleterre in mid November.

Frederic Chopin's work is to be commemorated during Chopin Festival 2009, which this year is entitled 'Chopin and his friends' and brings a week of festivities to Geneva between November 15th and 22nd.

Highly talented performers will be on hand to interpret works of Chopin, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Liszt, Alkan and other composers during concerts at Geneva's Conservatoire de Musique.
