French Language Week at various locations

Visitors to luxury Geneva hotel d'Angleterre who want to show off their French language skills will get the perfect chance this March.

Geneva will take part in French Language Week from March 20th to 27th when a special competition takes place to test people's language skills.

Each year ten different French words are picked and visitors and locals should use these to create poetry or present exhibitions. It is all in the name of demonstrating the broadness of the French language.

This year's ten words are mentor, cheval de Troie, crescendo, mobile, variante, baladeur, escagasser, remue-galère, zapper and méninges.

People staying at luxury Geneva hotel d'Angleterre who do not quite have the French skills to take part can watch the various exhibitions of the words while on their break.
