Geneva Marathon at various locations

Event: Geneva Marathon
Date: May 8th and 9th

There will be marathons taking place in cities across Europe in the next few months, including London, Milan, Rome and Madrid.

While these are all beautiful places, the routes that runners will take will not match that taken by participants in the Geneva Marathon.

The Jet d'eau, the flower clock and Lake Geneva are just some of the attractions that runners will pass.

While the idea of a marathon may scare some people, there are events for participants of all abilities to enjoy, meaning they too can take in the sights that city has to offer.

There will a six-kilometre race especially for women in addition to a half marathon and courses for children aged between six and 13.

After running along Lake Geneva, runners can sit back and appreciate its beauty in a room at the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre.
