For three days and nights in mid June, Geneva will be consumed by music of all different kinds.

No corner or square is left uncovered as artists from across the globe descend on this beautiful part of Switzerland for one of the country's most impressive cultural events.

The Fete de la Musique brings the city to a standstill, with locals and tourists coming together to enjoy orchestral works, world sounds, jazz, rock, pop and more.

Indoors or outdoors, there is no escaping this musical extravaganza, which has the whole region singing and dancing and revelling in the glorious summer sunshine.
