Event: Quercy – Traces of a Distant Past
Date: June 1st to September 12th
One of the Natural History Museum's researchers has been leading excavations in the Quercy region of south west France trying to dig up artefacts and clues to its rich and varied history.
He documented the dig together with one of the museum's photographers and the fruits of their labour can be enjoyed by members of the public from the beginning of next month.
The Quercy region boasts a rich collection of Paleolithic remains and visitors will see the many artefacts and treasures the pair found during their trip.
For history lovers, this promises to be an event not to be missed.
To make the experience even more memorable, visitors can book a stay at the luxury Geneva hotel the Hotel d'Angleterre and be right in the heart of the city's cultural and historic quarter.
With the Arts and Culture package, guests are granted entry into two museums, a buffet breakfast and a beautiful book of Geneva to take home with them to remind them of the wonderful time they had.
