Whilst Geneva has so much to offer grown-ups in terms of superb shopping, outstanding wining & dining and elegant surroundings, there’s also plenty of diversions and attractions for younger members of the family. For a start, Europe’s tallest fountain is right outside the hotel’s front door, creating a magical rainbow in the summer sunshine.

The beautiful lake is ideal for spectacular boat trips while the surrounding mountains offer no shortage of breathtaking sightseeing opportunities. We’ve also arranged mini train rides through the city’s beautiful parks, and can organise special excursions to a Swiss chocolate factory.

Geneva Gastronomic Experience

Discover the beautiful city of Geneva and indulge yourself while staying at the Hotel d'Angleterre. In order to make your stay complete, we suggest a culinary experience with our Chef and a Swiss wine initiation with our Sommelier. You will also be able to try some of our specialties in Windows Restaurant. In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to visit one of Geneva's famous Chocolate factories. Back at your home away from home, enjoy our traditional Afternoon Tea. To end this unique day, enjoy a dinner cruise on Lake Geneva. Switzerland is also much appreciated for its cheeses.

We highly recommend you discover the city of Gruyères. It stands in the midst of the Fribourg green pre-Alpine foothills. The Castle of Gruyères, one of the most prestigious in Switzerland, towers majestically above the medieval town. The tour of the castle offers a walk through eight centuries of architecture. A personal driver will escort you and drive you to the well known Cailler chocolate factory, to "La Maison du Gruyère" and to the Château de Gruyères.
